“I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars.” —Og Mandino
We continue to endure being separated from one another. You all are doing many kinds of things to connect with one another, which does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Some days it's more of a struggle than others, to reach out, to not let our spirits feel alone.
I offer some words to encourage us:
From Romans 12 – Be happy with those who are happy, and cry with those who are crying. Consider everyone as equal, and don't think that you're better than anyone else.
From Philippians 4 - Let your gentleness show in your treatment of all people; the Lord is near. Don't be anxious about anything; rather bring up all of your requests to God in your prayers and petitions, along with giving thanks.
And, this week as we offer encouragement to those who are graduating, these thoughts go to them as well.
“It is when we are most lost that we sometimes find our truest friends.” —Brothers Grimm
