From sunrise to sunset, let the LORD’s name be praised!  Psalm 113:3

This weekend we will change the hour on our clocks. This has been going on for most of my life, and feels natural to me. But it’s causing a lot of consternation among some who want to stop the practice. We plan our lives around what the clock tells us, not what the sunrise and sunset tell us. A measurement devised by humans, causing humans to react with great rancor towards one another.

The thing is, we all know that the sun rises and sets at a different time every single day. Our way of marking time won’t have any effect on that. So is it something to let ourselves be angry about? Isn’t it better to enjoy the beauty God sends us? And the time God gives us? 

Yes, we all have feelings about Daylight Saving Time. It does give us something to talk about!
